Tomorrow sees the start of National Breastfeeding Week and I’m going to be taking part with the Keep Britain Breastfeeding scavenger hunt. The premise is simple. Bloggers from around the country write about their experiences and readers (yes, you!) can win some lovely breastfeeding related prizes (and some fudge). I haven’t really written about parenting before, so this is going to be interesting, but breast-feeding has been one of the most rewarding yet challenging aspects of bringing up Betsy and it’s made me realise how absolutely vital it is for women who plan to breastfeed to have as much information and support as possible.
There’s more information on the main Keep Britain Breastfeeding website and pop your name down while you’re there to take part in the raffle. There’s a Twitter too. See you over the course of the week with a couple of posts and some cookies.
