Living Arrows 153

You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth. – Khalil Gibran

Living Arrows – a portrait a week of my two children.

We bought some headphones for Betsy over the weekend. They’re for long journeys in the car really, but she’s been enjoying singing along to the Frozen soundtrack at home. This is the start of a love of music possibly, people! There is nothing better than listening to good music on headphones. I’m going to have to load up an old mobile with tunes for her now, aren’t I? I can’t wait!

Poor Arthur, ill again (another cold) and so tired he’s getting that weepy eye thing, but still loving watching Dave play video games.

I love these pictures. They are fab in black and white. I’m always afraid to go B&W but these are stunning. #livingarrows

Such beautiful photos. There’s something about black and white that seems to capture a personality more than colour photos. #mmbc

Lovely photos. I don’t see so many black and white photographs these days, but I love how atmospheric these are, and you’re just instantly drawn to the children’s expressions. Hope Arthur is feeling better soon. I have an Arthur too – great name! 😀 #LivingArrows

I hope Arthur feels better soon, it’s so hard when they’re not well. We’ve been thinking about getting some headphones for our son, maybe for his birthday which is coming up soon. x #livingarrows

I wish these damn bugs would just bog off! Our poor kids 🙁 Betsy looks so grown up, I loved music as a child and still do and I hope my children grow to love it too x

I absolutely love these photos! The black and white look absolutely brilliant. Sorry theyve been poorly! It’s seems that all the kids at the moment are going down with something!
