Some pictures of the Lake District

Lake District

It’s occurred to me that I didn’t show any pictures of our lovely holiday up in the Lake District from last year, mainly because by the time I got home, morning sickness with Amazertron had well and truly kicked in and the thought of blogging wasn’t appealing. So here are a few of my favourites as today is the day I get induced if I’ve yet to give birth and hopefully looking at them will give me a nice oxytocin boost.

We hired bikes in Grizedale Forest, I’m so unfit I almost killed myself. Fun day though, Betsy loved her little trailer.

Wray Castle. I had an entire blog post in my head dedicated to this place, it’s amazing and a must for every family who visits the Lakes. Hmm, maybe I will write about it someday?

The cottage we stayed at was great, situated a 20 minute walk from Hawkshead and along the footpath to Tarn Hows, we were treated to amazing views. As we were staying on a working farm, we saw cows and Betsy took great delight in seeing the tractor every morning from our bedroom window.

Oh god, I miss it. I cannot wait to be up there again.

Terrific pictures of a wonderful place. I always enjoyed my visits there, regardless of the weather. xx
