Myddelton House Again

I know I’ve written about my visits to Myddelton House Gardens a couple of times before, but it’s so lovely there, it’s worth writing about again. The weather was lovely on Sunday and Dave suggested we pack a picnic and head over to the gardens for what turned out to be our first family outing with the four of us.

The place is a riot of colour at the moment and there are many little pathways amongst the big beds to explore. Betsy loved it. She’d go off exploring with one of us while the other parent looked after Arthur and the picnic and would then swap parent and show them what she found before.

I think we’ll be spending quite a lot of our summer here.

It must be good to have somewhere like this, almost on your doorstep, that you enjoy visiting. xx

What a lovely looking place to visit and that photo of baby amongst the flowers is just unbelievably sweet!
